Winklepots.etsy.com and My Front Page Screen Shot

Thank you to wonderful Etsy shop owner Winklepots for making me a happy first time Etsy Front Pager! I've been a bit disappointed at having missed my FP debut last weekend but am ever so happy to have been there. On Friday I was visiting the Etsy message forums and saw that another shop owner had the same experience as me but she thought to post about it there and other members of the community connected her to screenshots of her front page appearance. I commented on how smart she was for having done this because I too had that experience and hadn't posted there. 

Well I woke up yesterday to a message in my Etsy in box from Winklepots directing me not only to a link for my front page screen shot but a Flickr group that maintains screenshots captured of these sacred front pages www.flickr/groups/etsyfrontpagers/. This is a searchable group where you can enter your shop id and voila! If you are there, your screenshot appears! Winklepots had responded to me in the forum thread but being an extra wonderful, thoughtful person, she took the time to convo me in case I didn't see her message in the forum. 

I went to check out her fab shop and oooed and ahhhed over her absolutely adorable handpainted children's clothing and accessories. It quickly made me long for the days when my kids were little ones and I would have immediately bought multiples of her items! Where was Etsy from 1994 through 2003ish? I need to find pregnant friends and quick!

Check out this cuter than cute little cupcake! Seriously, what goes together better than a precious baby and cupcakes? As she says in her description, "So sweet it may cause cavities"

It's a size 12 months and no matter how much I encourage my fit and flexible 9 year old to fold herself up, unfortunately it will never fit her, but you may know someone for whom it would be just perfect!

Next on my "What I Would Have Bought If Etsy Had Existed From 1994 to 2003ish List" is absolutely this tres chic "Sushi Me" infant wrap shirt size 3 months. I mean seriously.

My last little tidbit from her shop that I'll share brings about a sense of serenity mixed with just the right amount of "OMG, that's so cute!" It's her Zen Buddha Tank Top in Size Small Girls 4 and to quote its maker "This sweet Zen tank top will have you saying 'Ohmmmmm, I'm so freakin' cute."
